November Wishlist

November Wishlist

Hey Guys!
I decided I'd share with you a really quick mood board I put together on Polyvore including all my favourite things I've found throughout November and also wish I had.

Kurt Geiger Bag
I fell in love with this bag as soon as I saw it, they do it other colours such as red, purple and black. I literally want one in every colour.

Chanel Perfume
I don't think I really need to explain myself when it comes to this,   love it!

Michael Kors Watch
I've been wanting to get a gold or rose gold watch for a while now, I know it seems like pretty much everyone has got one but... I still really want to get myself a Michael Kors watch, if not something in a similar style.

Olympus Pen Camera
Now, I've been on the look out for a new camera for ages, I currently own a Canon SLR which has been brilliant but now struggles to focus, especially in different lighting. I need something that takes amazing pictures but also does film as I plan on starting my own YouTube channel very soon. I've seen a lot of bloggers using the Olympus Pen camera's and really wonder if this should be my next camera...

If you've used an Olympus Pen camera, let me know, how do you find it? Does it take a good picture and is it good for filming? Send me the links to your blogs and what camera's you are using, i'd love to take a look and share them...

lots of love

Want Her Dress

Good Morning,
Today, for the first time in a long while I actually have got a whole day off, so it's really time for me to catch up on some blogging! As you know I've been at the Blogger's Love Hub events for the past few weeks, sadly last night was the last one!

Anyway last week I met the lovely Carol, from Want Her Dress. She had bought a lovely collection of dresses and skirts to the event which really caught my attention! After the event, Carol kindly sent me this lovely pleated green maxi dress. This dress is great for the Christmas party season as it can be dressed up in many different ways. I've decided to pair it with favourite pair of gold glitter wedges from Kurt Geiger and a statement necklace. I don't normally go for longer dresses but I love the material of this one as the sheer skirt still shows off your legs along with the splits down the side. The dress is also available on the website in different colours including red and black and is currently down in price for just £11.00! So if your looking for you Christmas party dress go take a look at the website...

Let me know what you find and how you'll be styling your Christmas party outfits...

Lots of Love

Blogger's Love Hub...

Hey Guys!

Some of you may be aware that I've been at the past few Blogger's Love Hub event's in London, so I thought I'd share a few pictures with you this evening. The events have been great, with fashion shows, catwalks and many new exciting brands. I've met some really great people and brands and am excited to share their products. I've decided that I will post the products from these events individually so I can talk about each one in detail. This monday coming is the last Blogger's Love Hub events which I'm really excited about, I will let you know how it goes. Apologies for my pictures also, the lighting in the clubs has been quite dark and I'm also having a few issues with my SLR camera at the moment. I have been looking for a new camera, but honestly not sure what to go for...
If anyone can suggest a good camera or what they use etc, that would be really helpful?

Also let me know if your going to be at the Blogger's Love Hub event this monday, it's always great meeting new bloggers.

lots of love

Gymbox, Train Like An Olympian - Class Review!

Hello everyone, hope you're doing ok and have had a great week...

Today I wanted to share a bit about my trip to Gymbox in Bank last week. For those of you who don't know, Gymbox is what I would describe as the future of Gym's, taking workout's very seriously yet making sweating fun and entertaining. It's like no other gym, what makes it so different is it's impressive interiors, unusual classes and even live DJ's, just to motivate you that little bit more.

So when I got in contact with Gymbox, I was delighted when they told me I could review a class for them. There were so many I wanted to try including Tone and Twerk, Rave and Gymbox Pole Dance. However I was chosen to do "Train Like an Olympian" - admittedly this isn't a class I would have normally picked for myself, especially as its been a while since i'd been to gym and I wasn't feeling psychically fit! Honestly, I felt a bit nervous before the class but at the same time, determined! I didn't quite know what to expect but had prepared myself for a hardcore workout...

So, how did it go? Well,I survived the class and really enjoyed it! I knew it wasn't going to be easy for me but a workout isn't really a workout if you don't push yourself. Fitness instructor Hendrick, also known as Superman, did a fantastic job at keeping us motivated throughout the class! It was a great environment with loud music and a class full of determined people. No one wanted to give up and I think this really helped me to keep going. The class consisted of many Push Ups, Squats, Burpees, Planks etc. Often there would be a fixed routine which we would repeat over, giving us a chance to pick up rhythm and definitely start to sweat. The class lasted around 45 minutes in total and afterwards I felt that I had worked every muscle in my body.

This class was just what I needed to push myself back towards getting fit and healthy again. If I can do it then I'm sure anyone can and I would say it's definitely worth giving it a go. Gymbox have gyms all across London, I'm just hoping they expand into Surrey as it's honestly such a great place to go!

Go and take a look at the Gymbox website, even just to look at their amazing list of classes, I'm sure you'll want to try at least one! Click here

Hope you've all enjoyed reading this post. I will be sharing my fitness journey on the blog as I'm now determined to get back into shape! I'd love to hear your fitness stories, also let me know if you've recently visited a Gymbox! Comment below or tweet me @AmyClaireBlaker

Soap & Glory Favourites!

 Morning Lovely People,
The past few weeks have been so busy with Uni work and events so once again I've struggled to find the time to blog. Last night I was at the Bloggers Love Hub in London, which was great and I met lots of lovely bloggers and brands, which means I also have a few new goodies to share with you guys. This morning I decided to have a bit of a pamper morning with all my Soap&Glory favourites.

I haven't pictured it but I started by using my Peaches and Clean, deep purifying cleanser, which is really good for your face, especially if you've left your make-up on overnight. I also used "The Scrub Of Your Life" which is great for removing dead skin. I wear fake tan quite often too and this I find is a good way of removing it. After my relaxing bath I then used the "Butter Yourself" Moisture Lotion, along with "Heel Genius" for my feet. All of these products smell fabulous and another thing I love about Soap&Glory is the humour it uses on it's products. "Hand Food" is something I now keep in my handbag now we're in the winter months, it keeps my hands feeling smooth and fresh.

After my pamper morning I'm now feeling refreshed and ready for the day ahead. Hope you all have a lovely day! Let me know what you've been doing? What's your favourite Soap&Glory product?

Oxygenetix Foundation!

Hey Guys!
Hope everyone is enjoying their October so far, not going to lie mine has already been super busy! Anyway today I wanted to talk about my current foundation I'm using which is from Oxygenetix, a brand I was lucky enough to meet at Blogger's Fashion Week last month.
Oxygenetix Foundation is not like any I've used before as it lets your skin breathe as you wear it. It was first launched in Beverly Hills, originally developed to heal the skin after cosmetic surgery. It's now available in 23 countries worldwide, with the product only just arriving in the UK this summer. After reading a little more on the products, I found out it's been used on many celebrities such as the Kardashian's and also the cast of Glee!

I have been using the foundation for about a week now and it's left my skin feeling great (Picture below show's me with Oxygenetix Foundation on my skin). It gives complete coverage which doesn't wear off throughout the day, meaning there's no need to reapply. It's also smudge proof, even in humidity and is also designed not to rub off on clothing. Another advantage is that it's water resistant and contains SPF25 for protection from the sun. Oxygenetix Oxygenating Foundation is also available in 14 different shades, so your more than likely to find a shade that's suitable for you! RRP: £45.00

Eyelashes by Lash Magnifique

Hey Everyone,
So, some of you may already know that I've been at the past few Bloggers Love events in London. I had an amazing time and met so many great bloggers and brands! I've still got plenty of goodies to share from what I received at Bloggers Love but today's post is about Lash Magnifique!

At the most recent event we met Stacey from Lash Magnifique! Ready with her business cards and homemade cupcakes, I was keen to find out a little more about her brand! Lash Magnifique specialises in eyelash extensions, which was something i'd always wanted to try!

So on Thursday me and Becca headed to St Johns Wood, make-up free may I add, to have our lashes done. Having never had them done before I wasn't quite sure what to expect, It sounds completely stupid now but I was even wondering if it would hurt my eyes? I was wrong, I found it very relaxing as it gives you a chance to chill out for almost a couple of of hours and once you open your eyes again you've got an amazing set of full lashes on!

For anyone thinking of trying eyelash extensions I would definitely recommend seeing Stacey at Lash Magnifique! She's a perfectionist and has done a brilliant job with both mine and Becca's eyelashes. I've had so many compliments on my lashes already and It also means no more mascara for me at the moment, which saves so much time and hassle in the mornings.

Still not convinced? See for yourself..

Shopping Made Simple With Shufflehub

Hello lovely people,

I think it's fair to say that summer is now officially over! I've been lucky enough to get away to a few different places this year, which has been fab, however it's now back to reality with work and University to focus on.

So with winter on it's way it's probably a good time to start looking for some key pieces to wear. Today, I wanted to share with you guys a new website, where you can do all your online shopping in one place, meaning you don't have to spend hours searching the internet. The website is called Shufflehub and it features all the favourite high-street and online brands from ASOS to ZARA.

For me, this is a brilliant idea as it saves so much time. Lately I've found that I do a lot more online shopping, although I often find myself giving up after searching through page after page on different websites. Shufflehub's website enables you to search in whichever way that suits you, whether that be by description, colour, category or brand. The website also gives you the opportunity to shuffle all products from a variety of retailers whilst 'window shopping'. The look of the website is very clean cut with sharp, clear visuals. It's simple layout also makes it really easy to navigate. Why not take a look for yourselves?

Shufflehub will soon be launching there brand new app, so make sure you look out for that! In the mean time go and take a look at their website, if you sign up your in with the chance of winning a £25 gift voucher to spend online.

Lots of love
