MAKE UP LOOK USING KISS LASHES

Today I wanted to share a make up look with you, I do get a lot of questions from friends etc on what products I use to do my make up - so here we go. I was kindly sent some lashes to try from KISS and I thought I would incorporate these into my everyday make up look.

So let's get started...

Primer: L'oreal Paris Infallible Mattifying Base.
This product is amazing, whether you suffer form oily skin or not (which I don't) this is a brilliant base for any make up.
Foundation: L'oreal Paris True Match, Shade 1.N Ivory.
This is such a good foundation, kind of reminds me of the Mac Studio Fix foundation. I have recently re-purchased this as I love it so much. Anyway I apply this using my Liz Earle foundation brush and then blend using a beauty blender.

Concealer: Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, Shade 1 Fair.
Another brilliant product, I use this under my eyes and then to lighten and brighten any other areas of my face.

Powder: Bourjois Silk Edition Compact Powder.
For this product I use my big fluffy Spectrum brush just to set my foundation and concealer.

Bronzer & Blusher: To define my cheeks a little bit more I use the Benefit Hoola Bronzer with an angled brush. I then add a little bit of MaxFsctor pink blush to the same brush just to add more of a pinky colour to my cheeks.

Brows: For my brows I have been using the Benefit Ka-Brow - this is a great product, really easy to use and comes with a small brush.

Eyeshadow: I got given the Naked 3 palette for my birthday this year, you can't beat the Urban Decay palettes to be honest. For this make up look I lost commonly use shade 'Buzz' all over my lid, then 'Bust' in the inner corners and 'Nooner' to create a crease. I then add some glitter pigment to the outside corners of my eye.

Lips: To add a natural looking colour to my lips I use the Rimmel London Exaggerate Liner in shade 105 and then use the Kate lipstick in shade 45 - I love this combo.

Liner & Mascara: For liner i've got a new favourite - I have previously always used the Soap & Glory Supercat Liner - however are recently trying the L'oreal Paris Perfect Slim Liner, I think I have been converted. This makes it fairly easy to adding a flick to my eyeshadow look. I then add some of my Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara.

Highlighter: I then use my Sleek Solstice palette to add some highlight to my skin.

Lashes: Lastly, I have used my new KISS lashes - the ones I have used for this are called 'Little Black Dress'. These were a little tricky to apply at first but I do always find that with all lashes when I first use them - it was just getting the corners to stick down. Sometimes I find lashes are too big for my eyes and in that case I will cut them down - luckily these were fine in the end. I then just finish the look by adding a little bit of liner to the corners of my eye.

... and that is one of my go to make up looks...

HOME INSPIRATION

As I don't yet own my own home to decorate, I began thinking about scrapbooking loads of visual ideas- instead I've decided to group some images together into a post. This may be something I now post more frequently on my blog but please note that the images used are not my own - these images have come from an email update from Bloglovin. Due to my job I do get the visit and sometimes stay in amazing venues so I may share some of my own images from time to time. I feel as I've got older my interest in design, interiors and properties has grown slightly.

Really this post is for my own benefit to look back own once I finally get my own home. It really inspires me to see such beautiful interiors and how creative people can be with their space - I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do.
